Research application solution of using precast fiber reinforced concrete blocks for nam dinh vu sea dike combined to use internal road

Abstract

ABSTRACT:
Dinh Vu peninsula is a significant economic, industrial, and essential area of Hai Phong city. However, this area is directly affected by natural disasters, high waves, and strong winds in the Gulf of Tonkin. In this paper, the author studies and applies the solution of using precast fiber-reinforced concrete blocks of Vietnam Science and Technology Joint Stock Company (Busadco) for Nam Dinh Vu sea dyke combined with internal road. Based on a comparison with the traditional solution in the basic design stage of the project, that shows the proposed solution has high economical and technical efficiency.
