Using fuzzy theory in making progress of construction investment projects

Abstract

ABSTRACT:

Fuzzy theory has long been widely applied in construction engineering, especially in scheduling construction projects. With the ability to solve problems that lack certain information, fuzzy is capable of describing uncertain parameters in the form of random parameters such as risk factors affecting the project construction process. Fuzzy theory has the advantage of solving problems with uncertain information such as uncertainties or risks, their application in the field of construction in general and project management in particular, fuzzy theory is only studied in the early stages while there are many issues to be improved in the project management stages. It can be said that fuzzy theory is an effective tool to solve problems related to the nature and use of fuzzy theory to design the construction schedule of the project. The application of fuzzy theory to design construction plans with uncertain information has not been studied much in the field of construction investment project management in Vietnam. This paper presents “using fuzzy theory in scheduling construction investment projects.”
