Abstract
AUSINDEX is a bilateral maritime exercise between Australia and India, organized since 2015. These exercises aim to enhance military capabilities and promote maritime activities between the two countries. This article will discuss the role and development of AUSINDEX in the maritime security cooperation between Australia and India. The result shows that over the editions, AUSINDEX has evolved from small-scale exercises into a series of larger activities. This not only reflects the increasingly close relationship between the two nations but also demonstrates their commitment to maintaining security, stability, and prosperity in the Indo - Pacific region.
