Abstract

This study explores the increasingly significant role of artificial intelligence (AI) in supporting teaching and research activities of law lecturers. AI offers the ability to quickly analyze vast amounts of legal documents, judgments, and complex cases, helping lecturers save time and enhance work efficiency. Alongside these remarkable benefits, the study also identifies several noteworthy challenges in AI application, such as ethical concerns, excessive reliance on technology, and the accuracy of provided information. The integration of AI into legal education requires a balanced approach, where technology serves not only as a tool but also as a complement to lecturers' critical thinking and expertise. This research provides a comprehensive view of the benefits and limitations of AI in the academic legal environment, emphasizing the need to maintain the central role of human contribution to ensure the quality of both teaching and research.
