POST-MODERN PERCEPTION OF HUMAN BEING IN NGUYEN VIET HA'S NOVEL
Abstract
In contemporary fiction, Nguyen Viet Ha's novels bear the strong imprint of postmodernism. With a postmodern feeling, people in Nguyen Viet Ha's novel always live in a state of uncertainty and doubt because the values of modern life are always changing. The author also focuses on portraying the type of person who is corrupted by his own consciousness, energy, and by the impact of the reality of society's overturned moral and aesthetic values. Using the sociological method combined with analysis, the article reveals human portraits in Nguyen Viet Ha's novels to see the message warning about the breakdown of kindness in modern people.
