PRESERVATION AND PROMOTION OF THE SEL DOLTA CULTURAL VALUE OF THE KHMER PEOPLE IN LOC NINH DISTRICT, BINH PHUOC PROVINCE IN THE CURRENT CONTEXT
Abstract
Like many other ethnic minorities, the traditional culture of the Khmer in Loc Ninh District (Binh Phuoc Province) is currently facing changes, eroded by the effects of promoting exchanges and associations. import. This study aims to both clarify the cultural features and values of the festival, while contributing to preserving, marketing and promoting cultural values of the Khmer people in the current socio, economic development context. now on. Through local field surveys, by fieldwork of Anthropology/Ethnology, combined with synthesis and analysis of documents, the results show that the Sen Donlta festival is a typical element, many special features: from customs, beliefs, folklore ... to music, visual arts, including Khmer community relations. Although there is a change, the values of the festival still affect and affect the spiritual and material life of the Khmer here. Therefore, in addition to preserving the ethnic identity, the festival also contributes to promoting positive factors, especially helping managers to arouse mutual relationships and solidify the community to build life. living culturally, at the same time contributing to stabilizing and developing socio, economic life of the Khmer in the locality.
