SOME RESISTANCE-WAR ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES IN THE SOUTHERN VIETNAM (1945-1954)
Abstract
V.I. Lenin said that in the modern war, “economic organization plays a decisive role”. Recognizing the Marxism-Leninism’s viewpoints and the role of economy in the development of the revolution, President Ho Chi Minh and the Communist Party of Vietnam soon set out the policy that people agree to suitable for both fighting the enemy and producing. During the 10 years of resistance war against the French re-invasion (1945-1954) in the key battlefield of the South, along with the increasingly active main activities of the political and military fronts, the economic front also took place fiercely and ferociously. Under the strong impact of the war, the construction of the resistance economy in the South of Vietnam faced many great difficulties and challenges that required sweat, blood and tears to complete the mission “the food is plentiful, the army is powerful”, contributed to the victory of the resistance
