DESIGN OF TOOLS FOR HARVESTING BLACK PEPPER

Abstract

This article shows how to design a black pepper harvester for the farmer. This tool is compact and inexpensive. It consists of a long handle, a clamp resembling a lotus bud, and a control cable connected from the end to the end of the handle. Farmers just need to stand on the ground, put the tongs to cover the bunch of black pepper, pull the control cable to make the clamp open or close, thereby picking the the bunch of black pepper from above.

Currently, in our country and in the world, farmers have to pick black pepper by hand. In the case of scattered clusters of ripe black pepper, the farmer has to work very hard to climb the ladder and pick them. The black pepper harvesting tool given by the author will help farmers not need to climb high and still pick the bunch of black pepper conveniently.
