NETWORK SECURITY SKILLS AFFECT ATTITUDE FOR ONLINE LEARNING OF STUDENTS
Abstract
The main objective of this study is to determine the impact of cyber safety skills on students' attitudes toward online learning, using the structure of a quantitative study. Respondents included 241 students from universities, colleges, and institutes in Ho Chi Minh City with a variety of disciplines. Data is gathered using the "Personal cyber security skills" and "Attitude toward online learning" scales. According to the result of the research, personal cyber safety skills have a positive impact on attitude toward online learning of students. Furthermore, there is a disparity between cyber security skill scores and attitudes toward online learning among students in different groups. Therefore, the author makes recommendations to help students improve their own cyber safety skills in order to protect themselves while participating in netwwork environment and suggest curriculum to strengthen knowledge about cybersecurity.
