THE BEAUTY OF WOMEN IN LY LAN'S SHORT STORY

Abstract

As always, women are always the priority subjects of writers. As a female writer, the main characters in Ly Lan's works are mostly women. The female characters in Ly Lan's short stories include all types of people: from uneducated people to intellectuals, from people from poor backgrounds to people born into well-off families, from people who have been unfortunate since childhood to people who are lucky... They all have something in common: a pure, beautiful soul; ttrong intelligence and willpower, not accepting injustice, having the will to escape a dark, deadlocked life to reach light and what is true and good. The article highlights more clearly the beauty of women as well as the aesthetic and humane meaning of women that writer Ly Lan put into her work.
