LEGAL ASPECTS RELATED TO THE APPLICATION OF AI IN THE PROCESS OF URBAN MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) technology is becoming an important tool in urban planning and development. AI has the ability to predict trends, optimize resource use as well as help build smart urban models. However, the application of AI in urban planning and management also poses many legal challenges. This paper will analyze the legal aspects related to the use of AI in urban planning and development, including legal liability, data privacy, technology management and stakeholder rights through the use of specialized research methods such as legal analysis, situational analysis, comparison, secondary data analysis. The research results show that AI technology brings many benefits in the process of urban management and development, typically from traffic optimization to energy management. On the other hand, the application of AI also poses many legal challenges, including legal liability, personal data protection and technology management.
