SURVEY ON WASTE WATER QUALITY AT MEDICAL FACILITIES IN BEN CAT TOWN

Abstract

The purpose of the wastewater quality survey at the medical facilities of Ben Cat town is to assess the current status of medical wastewater management, collection and treatment in the town. And then, proposing solutions for management and treatment of medical wastewater in the town's medical facilities, meeting the discharge standards of QCVN 28: 2010/BTNMT, contributing to reducing environmental pollution. According to the results of investigations and surveys at medical facilities in the town, the total amount of medical wastewater generated about 387m³/day.night. In particular, the largest flow of wastewater is My Phuoc General Hospital about 190m³/day.night, the town medical center is about 78m³/day.night, the private clinics are about 48m³/day.night. The rest of the health facilities has small relatively flow of wastewater from 1 to 2 m³/day.night/specialist.
