Abstract

Vietnamese novels in the 21st century experienced profound transformation regarding writing and criticism. Game theory gradually approached Vietnamese writers, readers, and researchers during this period. Writers used their creativity to create colorful works; and maximized the relationship between authors - texts - readers in the reception process. Initially, the article scrutinizes some ways that Le Anh Hoai, through the novel "Variety Love Story", creates a "literary game". Through the reception process, the reader deciphers the meaning of the "game" behind the shell of words that opens up many layers of meaning of the work.
