TRANSFORMATION OF THE COORDINATES FROM THE PAST ITRF VERSIONS TO ITRF2020

Abstract

This paper studies the transformation of the coordinates from the past International Terrestrial Reference Frames (ITRF) versions to the latest version (ITRF2020). For transformation, the 14- parameter formula has been studied and applied. The transformation parameters from the past ITRF versions to ITRF2020 also have been studied. To automate calculation, a program of coordinate transformation has been developed, called Trans ITRF. The experiment was carried out with 11 GNSS points in the Hanoi area and some neighboring provinces. The experimental results were compared with the test results. The coordinate differences were very small, at 10-5m, showing the accuracy of the program
