Abstract

During the car's movement, the traction coefficient of the wheels and the rolling resistance coefficient of the wheels may be different, thereby affecting the car's movement trajectory. This article presents the results of research on the influence of adhesion coefficient and corresponding rolling resistance coefficient of dry asphalt pavement on the turning characteristics of passenger cars using the Monte Carlo method. The research results can be applied to evaluate the turning dynamics of cars and provide some recommendations in the exploitation and use of cars when entering roundabouts.
