Current Status of Spiritual Culture Tourism in Tay Ninh Province – Proposing Solutions to Promote and Advertise Products through Virtual Reality Tourism

Abstract

In the tourism industry, virtual reality technology uses supporting devices’ software to create a virtual tourism environment, allowing holidaymakers to feel as if they are having a real experience. This article focuses on investigating the role of virtual reality tourism in promoting tourism products and evaluating the experience of developing virtual reality tourism models in various localities. In addition, this study also analyzes the current situation of spiritual and cultural tourism in Tay Ninh province. The analysis results indicate that Tay Ninh province has not experienced a strong digital transformation in promoting and advertising tourism products through virtual reality tourism models. As a result, this study put forwards several solutions to strengthen the promotion of spiritual and cultural tourism in Tay Ninh province in the context of digital transformation through virtual reality technology.
