Abstract

In the context of increasingly profound higher education reform and international integration, the development of young faculty members has become a strategic priority for educational institutions, particularly non-public universities. This study aims to identify and measure the factors influencing the development of young faculty members at Thanh Dong University. Data were collected from 136 lecturers and academic administrators and analyzed using Cronbach’s Alpha, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), Pearson correlation, and multiple linear regression techniques. The results indicate that five factors have a statistically significant and positive impact on the development of young faculty members: (1) Strategic orientations and policies; (2) Support and working environment; (3) Regulatory and incentive policies; (4) Socio-economic environment; and (5) Professional qualifications and scientific research capacity. Based on these findings, the study proposes several managerial implications to assist the university in formulating a sustainable development strategy for its young faculty, in line with the current higher education landscape
