DEVELOPING THE FACULTY HUMAN RESOURCES OF THANH DONG UNIVERSITY TO THE DEMANDS OF THE PRESENT PERIOD
Abstract
The rapid development of the knowledge-based economy, international integration, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and the demand for reform in higher education have posed numerous challenges for higher education institutions in Vietnam. With the strategic aim of becoming a reputable university ranked highly both nationally and regionally, Thanh Dong University is facing an urgent requirement to develop its faculty human resources, ensuring sufficient quantity, strong quality, and adaptability to the country’s development needs. This study analyzes the current status of the faculty human resources at Thanh Dong University, including aspects such as quantity, organizational structure, and competencies. Based on this analysis, the study proposes several solutions to develop the faculty workforce to meet training requirements in the current period.
