Some solutions to minimize risks in commodity agricultural production due to the impact of Covid-19 in Hai Duong province

Abstract

Since the COVID-19 pandemic started, the manufacturing industry’s supply chains have been broken, the trading of materials and  the distribution of products have been corrupted, which has damaged all economy sectors, including commodity agricultural production in the country in general and Hai Duong province in particular. Some solutions to limit the negative impacts of risks in Covid -19 pandamic for commodity agricultural production are proposed such as (1) Diversification of the areas of agricultural productions and their products; (2) Agricultural mechanization and applications of advanced technologies; (3) Synchronization of stages of production, preservation, processing and distribution; (4)  Development of supply chains for the agricultural manufacturing industry; (5) Participation in the value chain of the agricultural manufacturing industry; (6) Participation in the insurance fund for the agricultural manufacturing industry.
