Abstract

The study aims to assess the current status and propose solutions to improve the efficiency of the Land Registration Office (LRO) in Tứ Kỳ District, Hải Dương Province. Preliminary data was collected from 90 households and individuals who are land users in 3 localities represented in the study: Tứ Kỳ Town, Quảng Nghiệp Commune, and Quang Trung Commune, as well as from 18 staff and officials who are involved in the activities of the Tứ Kỳ District Land Registration Office branch. The study results indicate that the LRO is lacking in equipment, machinery, and the office space is cramped and does not frequently update its records. To enhance the efficiency of the LRO, a comprehensive implementation of the following solutions is necessary: i) Organizational solutions; ii) Financial solutions; iii) Solutions related to infrastructure, technical equipment, and technology; iv) Human resource solutions; v) Solutions to overcome challenges in the operations of the Tứ Kỳ District LRO branch
