Abstract

Abstract: The Khmer culture, with its distinctive customs, festivals, and rich traditions, contributes to the uniqueness of the region's culture. The Óoc Om Bok Festival, part of the Chôl Chnăm Thmây, Đôn Ta, and Đua Ghe Ngo festivals, originates from the production/laboring life of the people. Despite being influenced by religious factors like Brahmanism and Buddhism, this festival still retains clear agricultural elements, reflecting the spiritual life and worldview of the Khmer people.

Keywords: Festival, worldview, Ooc Om Bok, Khmer.
