INHERITING AND PROMOTING THE VALUE OF PEACEFULNESS OF THE VIETNAMESE NATION IN THE CURRENT PERIOD

Abstract: Peacefulness is a precious traditional value of the Vietnamese people, reflecting one of the most essential characteristics of the Vietnamese people. In the family and community level, peacefulness maintains family ethics, harmonious relationships between spouses, parents and children, siblings, and neighbors, aiming to build the homeland and country. At the national level, peacefulness is shown through friendly diplomacy to maintain independence and self-reliance, prevent invasion, protect sovereignty, and build a sustainable and stable peace for national development. This article analyzes and clarifies the inheritance and promotion of the value of peacefulness of the Vietnamese nation in the present context.
