Abstract: Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan was an outstanding political and military strategist of the Vietnamese people. His life, career, and thought left a deep mark on the history of Vietnamese thought; especially his patriotism, will for national independence, views on the people, and unique military philosophy of "using the short to control the long," "using few to defeat many, using the weak to counter the strong," etc. These arguments have become an ideological heritage of the nation. Within the scope of this article, the author focuses on analyzing some basic contents of Tran Quoc Tuan's political and military thought.
