Abstract: The Mother Goddess (Tam Phu, Tu Phu) worship belief plays an important role in the spiritual life of the Northern Delta residents today. Developed from the worship of female deities, the Mother Goddess (Tam, Tu Phu) belief emerged with the appearance of Saint Mother Lieu Hanh, the main deity of the Mother Goddess worship belief of the Northern Delta residents in the 16th century. With its basic characteristics, the Mother Goddess (Tam Phu, Tu Phu) belief in the Northern Delta contributes to creating the traditional cultural identity of the Vietnamese nation.
