Basis for recommendations of instituting civil cases for public interests by the People’s Procuracy in Vietnam

Abstract

In the artcile “Instituting civil cases for public interest by the People’s Procuracy of China and recommendations to improve Vietnamese civil procedure law” published in the Journal of Procuratorate Studies no. 08 (70)/2023, the authors proposed to regulate the authority of the People’s Procuracy to institute civil cases for public interest. In this article, the authors clarify the scientific basis for that recommendation.
