Abstract

The implementation of the prosecutorial supervision function in criminal trials by the Procuracy contributes to ensuring human rights, citizens’ rights, and the effectiveness of the Court's handling criminal cases. Through prosecutorial supervision, the Procuracy ensures the full implementation of the fundamental principles of criminal procedure, including the principle of fair trial. Therefore, it is necessary to research and clearly define the relationship between the prosecutorial supervision activities of the Procuracy and the guarantee of fundamental principles of criminal procedure, particularly the principle of a fair trial.
