Legislative techniques and movement trends in the context of modernization

Abstract

Law reflects the objective needs of society and regulates social relations. The comprehensiveness of the legal system, with the consistency, scientificity, and standardization of legislative techniques, are the basic criteria to determine a legal system’s level of perfection. Under that context, the article clarifies the concept of legislative techniques, points out the meaning and role of modernization and the main trends in the process of modernizing legislative techniques. From there, the article proposes solutions to perfect legislative techniques in Vietnam in the current context.
