Solutions to improve the effectiveness of law enforcement on prevention and combating of smuggling in goods importation and exportation at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi

Abstract

Currently, the situation of smuggling and trade fraud in the customs sector is increasingly heated and complicated, and has really had a great impact on our country’s economy. Especially at Noi Bai International Airport with a large area in the Capital City, smugglers use many sophisticated methods and tricks to bypass the authorities. Although the Hanoi City government and relevant agencies have tried to implement measures to combat it, there are still many limitations and problems in applying the law. Within the scope of the article, the author will propose solutions to improve the effectiveness of law enforcement on anti-smuggling in the import and export of goods at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi.
