Enhancing the Penal Code's provisions on Violations of banking and related activities

Abstract

Along with socio-economic development, there has been a recent escalation in both the frequency and severity of criminal acts contravening regulations pertaining to banking. This trend has led to an exacerbation of societal harm. One of the important reasons leading to the above situation is the incomplete nature of the Penal Code’s provisions addressing such offenses, which fail to effectively facilitate the crucial tasks of education and prevention. This article analyzes certain limitations inherent in the existing provisions of the Penal Code concerning crimes related to the violation of regulations on banking activities. Furthermore, it gives out recommendations for amendments and supplements aimed at addressing these deficiencies.
