Abstract
Recovering assets through criminal convictions is the main and most common measure to corrupt property recovery. This measure is recognized in international law, as well as the laws of many countries, with each country’s comprehensive approach contributing to increasing the effectiveness of this activity in practice. Therefore, it is necessary to refer to international law, as well as legislative experience of other countries on procedures to recover corrupt assets through criminal convictions in order to perfect the provisions of Vietnamese law, meeting practical requirements in the current period.
