Enhancing the quality of coordination between the Procuracy and the Investigation agency in detecting, collecting, and utilizing micro-traces in criminal cases

Abstract

Micro-traces play a crucial role in determining the objective truth in criminal cases, in cases under investigation where there are no witnesses or physical evidence av ailable. However, the effectiveness of detecting and collecting such traces heavily depends on the close, timely, and effective coordination between the Investigation agency and the People’s Procuracy. This article analyzes the current state of coordination between the two agencies in this field, identifies existing shortcomings and causes, then proposes solutions to improve the quality of cooperation in detecting, collecting, and utilizing micro-traces in the investigation, prosecution and adjudication of criminal cases.
