Social criticism within the mechanism for controlling state power in Vietnam - Current situation and recommendations

Abstract

Social criticism contributes to creating a democratic environment of debate and dialogue; it conveys requests and recommendations that assist policy-making bodies in identifying and remedying shortcomings and limitations in the process of drafting and implementing policies, thereby contributing to the control of state power. This article analyzes the current state of social criticism activities within the mechanism for controlling state power in Vietnam and proposes several recommendations.
