International standards in protecting judicial priority rights of children committing crimes and compatibility in Criminal Code of 2015
Abstract
Children with endogenous factors become more entitled to priority over other subjects even if they are the subject committing a crime. Protecting the judicial priority rights for children committing a crime has been recognized in the international legal instruments as the norm for countries to internalize their criminal codes. The Criminal Code of 2015 amended and supplemented in 2017 with its specific regulations has also demonstrated the compatibility with the international legal norms in the protection of the judicial priority rights of child offenders.
