Abstract

The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (Vienna, 1980 - CISG) comes into force in Vietnam on 1st January 2017. The article focuses on analyzing the provisions of CISG on sphere of application through some dispute cases, then provides recommendations for CISG 1980’s sphere of application to Vietnamese judicial authorities and enterprises.
