Abstract

In recent years, in addition to the traditional modes of organizing and carrying out human trafficking, criminals also use technology to facilitate, organize and hide their illegal activities. This increases the seriousness of the crimes and the number of victims. Also, after committing the crimes, with the support of technology, it is easier for criminals to abscond the law. This article explores how human traffickers use technology to expand their networks, and how technology can be used to prevent, detect and handle trafficking in persons cases.
