Abstract

According to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), human trafficking crimes across the world and in the region are increasingly complicated, requiring countries as well as Viet Nam to increase cooperation activities to prevent and combat crimes. This article introduces and analyzes the legal framework and basic obligations of countries in cooperation to prevent and combat human trafficking. It also reviews the implementation of obligations; and proposes some solutions to improve the effectiveness of activities to prevent and combat human trafficking in Viet Nam.
