Right to be protected of children suffering from violence in ASEAN countries and some recommendations for Vietnam

Abstract

Children suffering from violence who have not fully developed cognitively and psychologically but have been physically and mentally harmed by illegal acts are particularly vulnerable subjects. Therefore, they have right to be protected. The article analyzes legal regulations in some ASEAN countries on right to be protected of children suffering from violence, then a number of recommendations to improve Vietnam’s legal regulations on this mafler will be given.
