Assessing learning outcomes of law students (majoring in Prosecution) at university-level in Hanoi Procuratorate University according to output competence standards

Abstract

Resolution No. 27-NQ/TW dated November 9, 2022 of the Sixth Conference of the 13th National Party Congress on continuing to build and perfect the law-governed socialist State of Vietnam in the new phase identifies one of the key tasks as “improving the quality of legal human resources”. An important step in the university-level law training process is the assessment of student learning outcomes. The article presents some concepts about assessing student learning outcomes, and on that basis, proposes content and methods to assess learning outcomes of law students (major in prosecution) according to output competency standards (referred to as output standards) at Hanoi Procuratorate University, contributing to the quality improvement of legal human resources.
