Regulations on first-instance order and procedures in resolving individual labor disputes at court – Current situation and recommendations

Abstract

Individual labor disputes are a common type of dispute arising from labor relations. Resolving disputes promptly to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the parties, thereby stabilizing labor relations, is an urgent requirement. The article studies the current status of Vietnamese law on the order and first-instance procedures in resolving individual labor disputes at court, evaluates the advantages and limitations and makes a number of recommendations to improve the legal framework on this issue.
