Perfecting the regulations of the 2015 Criminal Procedure Code on agencies, persons authorized to conduct proceedings and participants in criminal procedures in the new era
Abstract
Agencies, persons with authority to conduct criminal proceedings and participants in criminal proceedings are two main groups of subjects of criminal procedural law relations. The 2015 Criminal Procedure Code has three chapters regulating these subjects but has remained shortcomings. The article recommends perfecting this Code’s structure on agencies, persons with authority to conduct criminal proceedings and participants in criminal proceedings; classifying subjects in accordance with the basic functions of the criminal procedural law to meet the requirements of building and perfecting the law on the organization and operation of judicial agencies and judicial support agencies forward the goals and orientations of judicial reform in the new era.
