Countering gasoline and oil smuggling taking place in the territorial waters of Ba Ria – Ving Tau province: Situation and solutions

Abstract

Currently, there has been an increase in both quantity and scope of gasoline and oil smuggling with serious nature that becomes one of big challenges for the anti-smuggling forces, especially in the southern coastal provinces like ba Ria - Vung Tau. This article introduces the situation of gasoline and oil smuggling taking place in the territorial waters of ba Ria - Vung Tau province, the fight of the anti-smuggling provincial force, limitations and solutions to improve the efficiency of prevention and combat of gasoline and oil smuggling in this province’s territorial waters in the coming time.
