Ensuring cutural rights of ethnic minorities – Situation at the Northwwest provinces

Abstract

There are more than 20 ethnic groups living together in the Northwest of Vietnam. In addition to the task of eradicating poverty for ethnic minorities is preserving and promoting their culture due to the loss of traditional culture. This has been a vital implication in ensuring cultural rights as well as successfully implementing ethnic policies in upcoming time. The article generalizes the regulations on ensuring cultural rights of ethnic minorities in Vietnam and assesses the current situation of ensuring these rights in some Northwest provinces.
