Resolving disputes in the East Sea by Arbitration Court provided for in Annex VII of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea 1982

Abstract

Recently, the situation in the East Sea has been extremely complicated with escalating conflicts causing tension in diplomatic relations among nations. The article concentrates on clarifying the provisions related to the settlement of disputes in the East Sea by Arbitration Court provided for in Annex VII of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) in 1982; the practice of settling disputes in the East Sea through Arbitration Court, thereby making some recommendations to improve the efficiency of resolving disputes in the East Sea by international arbitration mechanism in upcoming time.
