The case-control study was conducted on 60 children with autism spectrum disorder and 120 children without autism spectrum disorder aged from 24 to 60 months old in Tuyen Quang from 2022 to 2023. Autistic children were diagnosed according to DSM-IV criteria and the level of autism was classified according to the Child Autism Rating Scale (CARS scale).
