ASSESSMENT OF THE RESULTS OF IMPLEMENTING ADVANCED NEW RURAL CONSTRUCTION IN PHU BINH DISTRICT, THAI NGUYEN PROVINCE

Abstract

Phu Binh is a midland district located in the south of Thai Nguyen province where the natural land area of ​​the district is 241.39 km², which is divided into 20 commune-level administrative units, including 01 town and 19 communes. In 2022, Phu Binh district was recognized for meeting new rural standards, with all 19 communes meeting these standards and continued to focus on building advanced new rural districts. The article used data collection combined with field surveys, along with synthesis, statistical analysis, and comparison methods, to show the results of implementing the advanced new rural criteria. The study evaluated and analyzed the results of 9 criteria for advanced new rural districts for the 2021-2025 period: planning; transportation; irrigation and disaster prevention; electricity; health - culture - education; economy, environment; living environment quality; security, order - public administration. The results of implementing the advanced new rural criteria in Phu Binh district have achieved the set targets, providing a solid foundation for completing the construction of advanced new rural areas of the locality in the near future.
