ANALYSIS OF ECONOMIC STRUCTURAL TRANSFORMATION PROCESS OF LONG AN PROVINCE IN THE PERIOD OF 2010 – 2020

Abstract

Economic restructuring is the core content in the development strategy of each country. In that process, the Party and the State have issued many consistent policies and guidelines to promote economic restructuring towards modernity, efficiency and sustainability. In Long An province, in the first decades of the 21st century, especially the period 2010 - 2020, the economy has had clear changes, reflected in changes in both industry structure and economic component structure. The article uses historical, logical, analytical, comparative and data evaluation methods to clarify the economic transformation trend of Long An province in this period. The research results show that Long An's economy was shifting towards industry - trade, services - agriculture, in line with the general development orientation. On that basis, the article analyzes the positive impacts, points out some remaining limitations, and then proposes solutions regarding mechanisms, policies, environment, employment, income, etc. The study also provides a practical basis for planning economic development strategies for Long An province in the next period.
