FAMILY PARTICIPATION IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE 2018 GENERAL EDUCATION GROGRAM: CONCEPTS, PARTICIPATION MODELS, AND APPLICATIONS IN VIETNAMESE CONTEXT
Abstract
Family participation in the implementation of the 2018 General Education Program is becoming an important issue in educational innovation in Vietnam. This study focuses on analyzing the theoretical basis and theories of family participation to clarify the question: how does the family participate in the implementation of the 2018 General Education Program. The study mainly uses the method of document research, through collecting, analyzing and synthesizing concepts, theories, documents and related scientific works to clarify theoretical aspects of the role of the family in education in general and in the 2018 General Education Program in particular. On that basis, the study points out directions for application in the practical context of Vietnam to promote family participation to effectively contribute to the implementation of the program. The research results also open up directions for further studies on the impact of family involvement on the education of students' qualities and abilities.
