THE PARTY'S POLICIES ON BUILDING ARMED FORCES AND REVOLUTIONARY BASES (1941 - 1945)

Abstract

From 1941 to 1945, under the leadership of the Party and Nguyen Ai Quoc, the activities of building armed forces and bases were carried out in parallel with the process of building and developing political forces and revolutionary organizations. To meet the practical struggle, the Indochinese Communist Party and Nguyen Ai Quoc, together with local leaders quickly stepped up the preparation, building and development of armed forces and revolutionary bases to move towards a general uprising to seize power when the opportunity arose. Using historical and logical methods and researching and analyzing relevant historical documents, the article clearly shows the policies and the process of preparing and organizing the building of armed forces and bases of the Party from 1941 to 1945. In addition, the study results also clearly show the leadership role and creativity of leader Nguyen Ai Quoc and local Party Committees in the process of building armed forces and revolutionary bases during these years. The article also highlights historical lessons from the revolutionary movement leading up to the General Uprising of August 1945 in Vietnam, which hold significant importance for the current building and development of the armed forces to firmly safeguard national independence and sovereignty.
