IMPROVEMENT OF TREATMENT IN NON-TARGET MEDICINE IN THE THAI NGUYEN CENTER FOR HOSPITAL IN 2017
Abstract
Preterm labor is the leading cause of death in newborn infants and is the second leading cause of death in infants under 5 years of age. Prevalence rates in Vietnam now range from 6.5% to 16%. Objectives:To describe the clinical characteristics of patients who are prone to premature delivery and evaluate the results of preterm treatment at Thai Nguyen Central Hospital in 2017. Selection criteria: All medical records were diagnosed to threaten premature labor from 22 weeks to less than 37 weeks. Healthy, open cervix under 4 cm, membranes intact and inpatient treatment at Department of Obstetrics, Thai Nguyen Central Hospital. Study time. Exclusion criteria: Cases of termination of pregnancy due to maternal morbidity, stillbirth, fetal distress or other social reasons. Study Design: Cross sectional description. Study site: Department of Obstetrics, Thai Nguyen Central Hospital. Study time: From 01 January 2017 to 31 December 2017.
Conclusion: The prevalence of preterm birth is 10.2% of total. Nospa and Salbutamol were the two most commonly used to reduce the contraction of the uterus, with a single-agent contraceptive therapy being more selective, accounting for 75.7% of patients treated for preterm labor. Progesterone was used in 28.9% of patients with preterm labor. The incidence of successful preterm births was 89.3%.
