SOME DEVELOPMENT SOLUTIONS FOR CAPITAL MODELING IN THAI NGUYEN PROVINCE

Abstract

The research focused on two groups of households to measure the situation of asparagus production in Thai Nguyen province. The first group was identified that participated in the project, namely  "Application of science and technology to build value chain of asparagus products from in Thai Nguyen province" and the second group included household planted asparagus, and the second is the non-participating group. The research used the survey method, data collection, statistical analysis to clarify the research objectives. The results showed that the participating households have joined in the training courses on the production of asparagus. Therefore, the profitability of the project participants is about 60 million VND per household per year while the non-participating group achieved only 18.382 million VND/household/year. Both groups identified their greatest difficulty as lacking of capital. Non-project participants were more interested in training in agriculture as a whole and in organic asparagus in particular.
